- Objective: Share your experiences on your Open
Source Project with the class.
- You
are to deliver a 15 minute presentation to the class describing your experiences
on your Open Source Project.
- Include
the following topics in your presentation:
- Purpose
of the project
- Functionality
of the project (what does it do?)
- Development
Language
- How
did you go about joining the project?
- Who
was your primary contact person (people)?
- How
did you interact your contact person and what
was the frequency and quality of your interaction?
- What
exactly did you do on the project?
- Show
the web site for your project or an operational version of the project to
the class.
- Show
examples of what you produced for the project.
- What
are the main things you learned about open source software development?
- Would
you recommend working on a open source project
to other students (Why or why not?)
- Use Powerpoint slides to guide your presentation and
upload the Powerpoint slides to the Moodle link
for this deliverable prior to the beginning of class.
