The Case of Julia

THE BIG PICTURE

Motivational interviewing (MI) is fast becoming the primary model for working with clients on behavior change in the areas of substance abuse, health care, and beyond. In this course, you will learn how to do motivational interviewing by practicing the component skills and then using them in “live” one-on-one interviews with other students targeting behavior changes such as studying more or using substances less.
