Homework Assignments

In general, problems are assigned during every class period.  Many of these problems will be done as in-class examples, so pay attention.  Outside of class, I encourage you to work together on solving homework problems.  However, I do expect that what you turn in will be your own work.  (I.e. don't copy someone else's calculator errors!)  If you don't know what you are doing on the homework, ask someone!  If your classmates don't know, ask me.  If you feel very confident about doing the homework, you should feel very confident about how well you will do on the exams.

There is no homework grader this semester, so I may try grading rotations or use spot grading.  Spot grading means I will verify that you have done the problems, and then grade in detail a fraction of the assigned problems.  (The fraction may be "1", depending on how long the grading takes.)  Late homework assignments will generally not be accepted.
