Randy Palmer’s Homepage

I joined the Physics & Engineering Department in 2008 as a visiting Professor of Physics.

Courses that I teach in the Department include introductory and advanced physics courses for both majors and non-majors.

Additionally, I am teaching a course in Geophysics in the winter term of 2010 which will have an emphasis on both exploration and whole earth geophysics.

I have a diverse background ranging from having worked in nuclear physics at Los Alamos National Laboratory to research on the tectonics and geodynamics of the Western United States utilizing computer modeling, geodetics and seismic methods.
