These are rules we decided on as a group on the first day of class:

· Accept that people have different opinions
o Be able to discuss without getting overly emotional
· Be reliable
o Address slacker-ness
· Have an open mind
· Share contact info
· Avoid interrupting
· Avoid long rants
· Listen before responding
· Turn off cell phones!
· Don’t be afraid to ask questions
RESULTS OF FEB. '09 SURVEY - CLASS CONTENT LEVEL & FORMAT:
Level:
Low = 6
Low but ok for 100-level = 3
Just Right = 9
High = 0
Comments:
use readings more in class; pick up pace/depth of lectures; more emphasis on conservation
Format:
More lecture = 5
Just Right Mix/Good Balance = 10
More activities = 4
Comments (things to change):
more activities/case studies; more discussion; more structure; activities pitched too low
